On February 22, 2025, Ken Ritz joined his brother Wayne, on “the softball field in the sky.” As a founding member of the Moline Softball Association, he played a crucial role in shaping the organization and coined the slogan, “Where the game is still played.” His love for softball, Moline, his family, and friends was unwavering. Known for his quick wit and generous spirit, he was always willing to help anyone in need. His passion for fastpitch softball was contagious, and he dedicated himself to sharing the game with others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
